Description

This parameter specifies the capacity of each volume of the FMS file striping system in megabytes. It is only used if you specify a value for NUMVOL greater than 1.

When NUMVOL is greater than 1, FMS writes data to the first volume until MBYTES of data have been transferred. FMS then switches to the second volume. This process continues until the entire file has been written.

Only symmetric configurations are supported. All disk volumes must have the same capacity.
